The participation of #DigiAgriFood, the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Hellenic Agri-Food Sector, at SynergyDays2024 held in Barcelona, was successfully completed, providing our team with the opportunity to showcase our actions and actively engage in discussions promoting digital innovation in the agri-food sector.
Over the course of the two days, we had the opportunity to exchange ideas and strategies that promote the digital upgrading of the agri-food sector in various regions of Europe, by participating in the following sessions:
- The Workshop titledCollaborative Innovation for European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs). It was a joint workshop by EDIH Bretagne, ENTIRE EDIH, and #DigiAgriFood, where problems were discussed and strategic solutions were proposed to increase the impact of EDIHs.
- The EDIH pitches session, during which the participating European Digital Innovation Hubs such as ENTIRE, Location Innovation Hub, and BOOST, highlighted specific cases of end-users who received services from the Hubs and improved their business operations.
- The panel discussion: “European Digital Innovation Hubs: Building digital capacity in your region”. In this panel, we analyzed the contribution of #DigiAgriFood to the digital transition of the agri-food chain and discussed the evolution of the hubs in the near future, alongside representatives from EDIH ENTIRE, Location Innovation Hub, and BOOST.
Throughout the two days of SynergyDays2024, the #DigiAgriFood team had the opportunity to share best practices and exchange ideas with other Digital Innovation Hubs from across Europe. Through presentations and discussions, we contributed to the creation of a broader pan-European network of collaboration, promoting the digital transformation of the agri-food sector.
With the completion of our participation in SynergyDays2024, #DigiAgriFood remains committed to developing new solutions that will support the sustainable growth of agricultural businesses and enhance competitiveness through digital innovation.
