#DigiAgriFood at the Informational Event on “Modern Challenges for Rural Development”, Feres

On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 17:30, the Europe Direct Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, in collaboration with Democritus University of Thrace, the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Hellenic Agri-food sector, #DigiAgriFood, and the Municipality of Alexandroupolis, is organizing an informational event on “Modern Challenges for Rural Development” at the Municipal Cultural Center of Feres.

Ioannis Amarantidis, Senior Project Manager of #DigiAgriFood, will present the role of the hub and the services it offers to farmers, contributing to the digital transformation of the agri-food sector.

This event aims to analyze the modern challenges faced by the rural development sector in our region and to present innovative solutions and strategies that could enhance the agricultural sector through digital innovation and the application of modern technologies.

The event is addressed to professionals in the agricultural sector, representatives of institutions, and anyone interested in improving agricultural production and strengthening the competitiveness of the sector.
