Democritus University of Thrace, the lead partner of the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Hellenic Agri-food sector, #DigiAgriFood, with the support of the Farmer & Investment Service Centers, Mitrousis, Kavala, is organizing a workshop on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 18:00 to 20:00, at Galaxy Hotel Kavala, Nestos Hall, 1st floor.

As part of our mission to empower farmers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with innovative digital and sustainable solutions, the #DigiAgriFood hub is launching a series of in-person workshops, with Kavala being the first city-host. These workshops promote collaboration by connecting local agronomists, farm consultants, cooperatives, and collective organizations with the #DigiAgriFood team in a dynamic environment that links our services with real local needs.

Together, we are creating a collaborative framework for exploring personalized solutions and providing services.

Workshop Structure:

Introduction: Presentation of DigiAgriFood and the services we offer for the agricultural, digital, and green transformation.

Farmer Listening Session: Participants will share their profiles, challenges, and needs, focusing on the main difficulties they face.

Digital Maturity Assessment (DMA): A questionnaire that collects information about current practices and their digital readiness.

Needs Assessment: Based on the collected information, we will document the specific needs and challenges of the end-users.

Matching and Planning: We will match the needs of participants with the available services of #DigiAgriFood and plan upcoming seminars, trainings, or customized solutions and services.

The event is open to the public, with limited availability, primarily targeting farmers, processors, and agricultural cooperatives.

Participation is free. Pre-registration is required via the link: https://forms.gle/gVMy7vCJb5sJocjJ8
