The 2nd IEEE Conference on Agrifood Electronics (CAFE2024) will take place in Xanthi, on September 26-28, 2024.

This particularly important event, which is organized by the Democritus University of Thrace and is under the auspices of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), will bring together leading scientists, researchers and professionals from all over the world. With entries from Europe (Greece, Italy, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Spain, France, Bulgaria, Ireland), Asia (Israel, Taiwan, India), America (USA, Uruguay, Mexico) and Africa (Kenya), CAFE 2024 will showcase the latest developments in technology and innovation in the agri-food sector.

The Conference will simultaneously host the 2nd IEEE CAS Industry Forum IAFE (Industry for AgriFood Electronics), on September 28, 2024, which will be a unique platform for presenting the latest innovations in the AgriFood sector. It will include presentations from European research programs and companies, highlighting the technologies and solutions shaping the future of Agri-Food. Through this event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about innovative approaches that enhance efficiency and sustainability in the industry.

The first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Hellenic Agri-Food Sector, #DigiAgrifood, proud supporter of the CAFE 2024 Conference, will participate in IAFE. More specifically, the Technical Project Manager, Dr. Dionysis Voglitsis will present to the public the actions and services offered by Komvos, on Saturday, September 28 at 17:15, at the A3 Amphitheater, of the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering, in Kimmeria, Xanthi. The event will be open to the public with free admission for Saturday only.
