Digital and Green Transition in Agri-Food: The Impact of the European Digital Innovation Hub DigiAgriFood | Agrotica 2026

The European Digital Innovation Hub DigiAgriFood, within the framework of its participation in the Agrotica 2026 exhibition, is organizing the event titled “Digital and Green Transition in Agri-Food: The Impact of the European Digital Innovation Hub DigiAgriFood”, on Saturday, 14 March 2026, from 14:00 to 15:20, at Emilios Riadis Hall, TIF–Helexpo, Thessaloniki.

The event offers an opportunity to present the project and the results achieved so far by the DigiAgriFood Hub, highlighting its contribution to strengthening innovation, digitalization, and sustainable development in the agri-food sector. Through its activities, the Hub supports farmers, businesses, and stakeholders in adopting new technologies, facilitating the transition towards more efficient and sustainable production models.

The event aims to serve as a meeting point for the scientific community, innovation stakeholders, and producers, highlighting the importance of collaboration and knowledge transfer in accelerating the digital and green transition in the agri-food sector, with the participation of all project partners:

  • Democritus University of Thrace

  • Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace

  • University of Thessaly

  • Institute of Bio-Economy & Agri-Technology (iBO / CERTH)

  • American Farm School

  • ena Development Consultants

Farmers will also participate in the event, sharing their experiences from using innovative tools and services they adopted within the framework of the project.

Throughout the Agrotica 2026 exhibition, a team from the DigiAgriFood Hub will be present at the Democritus University of Thrace exhibition booth, located on the 2nd floor of Pavilion 2, Stand 52, at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center.
