We are pleased to announce that the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Hellenic Agri-food sector, #DigiAgriFood, has successfully completed its first official project evaluation, conducted by the European Commission. The evaluation took place at the premises of the Ministry of Digital Governance in Athens, with the full partnership consortium present.

During the meetings, the key achievements of all areas of the hub’s activities were presented — from the readiness of digital services and the mobilization of the ecosystem, to the impact of dissemination and the performance of KPIs.

This evaluation is part of the monitoring of projects under the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL-2021-EDIH-01) and marks an important milestone in #DigiAgriFood’s journey to accelerate the digital transformation of the agri-food sector in Greece.

#DigiAgriFood had the opportunity to demonstrate the power of collaboration between research institutions, regional authorities, SMEs, and innovation experts, in order to bring about meaningful, tangible impact in sectors that are fundamental to Europe’s resilience.
