Within the framework of the strategic development of the One Stop Shops of #DigiAgriFood, physical presence points have been established across Greece, aiming to facilitate access for farmers, businesses, and organizations to digital services and innovative solutions.
The One Stop Shops operate as local support centers, bridging the gap between technology, the market, and research. They provide information, training, and personalized guidance to support the digital and green transition of the agri-food sector.
The DigiAgriFood One Stop Shop in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, based in Komotini, serves as a key support mechanism for the agri-food sector in the area. It operates as a direct service and guidance point for farmers, businesses, and organizations, facilitating their access to digital innovation services, funding tools, and rural development programs.
The service point is located at 1 Dimokratias Avenue, on the 4th floor, at the offices of the Executive Directorate of Agricultural Economy of the Region, and functions as a central hub for the implementation of DigiAgriFood project activities in the area.
A Decisive Role in Rural Development
As part of the implementation of Work Package 4 of the DigiAgriFood project, the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace plays a crucial role, as the One Stop Shop operates as both a digital and physical support hub for the Rural Development Programme (RDP) of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.
Through this specific point, substantial support is provided to the agri-food sector, with emphasis on:
