As part of the development strategy of the #DigiAgriFood One Stop Shops, physical access points have been established throughout the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, aiming to facilitate access for farmers, businesses, and organizations to digital services and innovative solutions.
The One Stop Shops operate as local support hubs that bridge the gap between technology, market, and research, offering information, training, and personalized guidance for the digital and green transition of the agri-food sector.
The One Stop Shop of DUTH: The Central Hub of #DigiAgriFood
The One Stop Shop of the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), which serves as the central reference point of the #DigiAgriFood EDIH, functions as a unified support center for the agri-food community of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
Its role is to:

Guide farmers, SMEs, and public entities in their digital and green transition.

Provide information and access to DigiAgriFood services (test before invest, training, access to finance, connection with the innovation ecosystem).

Act as a mediator (“white broker”) between technology providers, end users, and investors.

Host training activities, demonstrations, and experimentation using DUTH’s facilities.
Direct Services and Support
At the One Stop Shop in Xanthi, as well as at other points of the network, services are offered that enhance the digital maturity and sustainable development of the agri-food sector:

Personalized consulting for businesses and farmers regarding the use of digital tools.

Training and workshops for the development of digital skills (upskilling & reskilling).

Educational activities on new agrotechnological tools such as drones, sensors, and robotic systems.
