Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), the lead partner of the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Hellenic Agri-food sector, #DigiAgriFood, is organizing a two-day conference on the occasion of World Environment Day, titled:
“Water Resource Management and Climate Resilience in Agri-Food” and “Innovative Plant Protection & the Environment, within the Framework of the InnoPP Flagship Initiative“.
The event will take place on June 5–6, 2025, at the Civil Engineering Amphitheatre, DUTH, Xanthi.
It is organized by the #DigiAgriFood Digital Innovation Hub, the Agri-Food Partnership of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (EMTH), the Innovative Plant Protection Project under the InnoPP Flagship Initiative, and the EIT Food Hub Greece.
Leading scientists from DUTH, Agricultural University of Athens, University of Thessaly, Benaki Phytopathological Institute, ELGO-DIMITRA, and other research institutions will participate.
There will also be presentations of the Department of Natural Environment and Climate Resilience, DUTH (Drama), as well as the Department of Viticulture and Oenology, DUTH (Drama).
At the same time, a business showcase area will be operating in the amphitheater foyer, featuring agricultural advisors, agribusinesses, agri-food companies, and more.
