Democritus University of Thrace, lead partner of the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Hellenic Agri-food sector, #DigiAgriFood, with the support of Agro Action, organizes an in-person workshop on Wednesday, 12/2/2025, from 18:00 to 20:00, at the “The Symbol” Grape Producers Group building, in Eleohori, Kavala.

As part of our mission to empower farmers and small and medium–sized enterprises (SMEs) with innovative digital and sustainable solutions, the #DigiAgriFood hub continues its series of in-person workshops. These workshops promote collaboration by connecting local agronomists, agricultural consultants, cooperatives, collective groups, and the #DigiAgriFood team in a dynamic environment that connects our services with real local needs.

Together, we create a framework for collaboration to explore personalized solutions and deliver services.

Workshop Structure:
Introduction: Presentation of DigiAgriFood and the services we offer for agricultural, digital, and green transformation.
Listening to Farmers: Participants share their profiles, challenges, and needs, with a focus on the main difficulties they face.
Digital Maturity Assessment (DMA): A questionnaire that records information about current practices and digital readiness.
Needs Assessment: Based on the collected information, we record the specific needs and challenges of the end users.
Matching and Planning: We align the participants’ needs with the available services of #DigiAgriFood and plan upcoming seminars/trainings or personalized solutions and services.

Afterwards, the training seminar on “Digital Skills & Brand Enhancement” will take place.
The event is open to the public, with limited spots available, mainly for farmers, processors, and agricultural cooperatives.
