As part of the #DigiAgriFood activities, the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Hellenic Agri-food sector, an event was held on Thursday, March 20, at 19:00 in Drama. The event was organized by the Institute of Bio-Economy and Agro-Technology (iBO / CERTH) with the support of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, the Drama Agricultural Cooperative Association (E.A.S. Drama), Intelligent Agriculture IKE, and FarmB.
The speakers at the event were Mr. Ilias Platis – #DigiAgriFood EDIH, Institute of Bio-Economy and Agro-Technology, Mr. Konstantinos Simoglou – Department of Quality and Phytosanitary Control, DAOK Drama, and Mr. Zafeiris Mystakidis – President of GEOTEE.
The event focused on Digital Transformation in Agriculture and Sustainability. Presentations were made on new technologies, deepening knowledge in digital technologies that add value to agricultural products, digital agriculture tools, and the sustainability of the agricultural sector through the use of digital tools.
