On <\/span>November 26 and 27, 2024<\/b>, #<\/span>DigiAgriFood<\/b>, the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Hellenic Agri-Food Sector, actively participated in the <\/span>EDIH Network Summit 2024<\/b>, held at <\/span>The Egg in Brussels<\/b>. This annual summit brought together representatives from EDIHs across Europe to foster collaboration and co-create strategies for the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

The #DigiAgriFood team, consisting of <\/span>Maria Michalopoulou<\/b>, <\/span>Ioannis Amarantidis<\/b>, <\/span>Dionysis Voglitsis<\/b>, and <\/span>Dimitris Bardakidis<\/b>, engaged in networking activities, discussions, and workshops focused on shaping the next phase of hub operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Notably, <\/span>Ioannis Amarantidis<\/b> met with <\/span>Malgorzata Nikowska<\/b>, Head of the Innovation & AI Unit at the EU, and the new <\/span>project officer Antoine Andre<\/b>, to discuss the next phase of the EDIHs and the evolution of the program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Activities of DigiAgriFood at the Summit<\/b><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Day 1 \u2013 Thematic Working Group Workshop on Agri-Food<\/b><\/h4>\n

On <\/span>Tuesday<\/b>, <\/span>November 26<\/b>, #DigiAgriFood participated in the workshop of the <\/span>Thematic Working Group<\/b>, focusing on the priorities for the agri-food sector in 2025.<\/span>During the workshop, strategic goals were discussed and set, including:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Development of a comprehensive training program.<\/b><\/li>\n
  • Establishment of clear service processes for SMEs.<\/b><\/li>\n
  • Coordination for shared resources and innovation support.<\/b><\/li>\n
  • Alignment on priority technologies.<\/b><\/li>\n
  • Creation of a robust network of events and communication activities.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Day 2 \u2013 Networking and Collaboration Activities<\/b><\/h4>\n

    On <\/span>November 27<\/b>, the team participated in <\/span>networking<\/b> activities and <\/span>discussions<\/b> with other EDIHs, promoting collaboration and sharing <\/span>experiences<\/b>. The goal was to showcase #DigiAgriFood\u2019s progress over the past two years and strengthen its relationships with European stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n

    #DigiAgriFood\u2019s participation in the <\/span>EDIH Network Summit 2024<\/b> highlighted its critical role in supporting the agri-food sector through <\/span>digital innovation<\/b>.
