Hydroponic Facilities \u2013 Energy Upgrade of Existing Installations&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, on <\/span><b>Tuesday, December 2, 2025<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, from <\/span><b>10:00 to 11:30<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>aim<\/strong> of the training is to inform:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> new farmers interested in acquiring or constructing greenhouse units,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">professionals involved in agricultural production in controlled environments, while also providing essential information regarding greenhouse and hydroponic installations.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, the seminar is addressed to greenhouse owners, with the purpose of presenting modern techniques and methods for improving energy efficiency and saving energy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the training, real case studies of greenhouse energy upgrades will be presented, implemented through the DigiAgriFood Hub service: <\/span><b>&#8220;Energy Upgrade of Greenhouse Installations&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with the ultimate goal of reducing annual operational and maintenance costs of greenhouse facilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation in the seminar is <\/span><b>free of charge<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and is primarily aimed at farmers, agricultural cooperatives, agricultural advisors, agronomists, and other professionals in the agri-food sector.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Registration is required<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the link <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/HkF4g29p3JLmd7wP8\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/HkF4g29p3JLmd7wP8<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by <\/span><b>28\/11\/2025<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, so that the Zoom access link can be sent to all participants.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Democritus University of Thrace, as the lead partner of the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Hellenic agri-food sector, #DigiAgriFood, is organizing an open online training seminar titled: &#8220;Business Opportunities in the Agricultural Sector: Greenhouse &amp;
