{"id":10925,"date":"2025-11-17T11:09:54","date_gmt":"2025-11-17T09:09:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digiagrifood.gr\/?p=10925"},"modified":"2025-11-17T11:26:04","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T09:26:04","slug":"one-stop-shop-of-the-institute-of-bio-economy-agrotechnology-ibo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/digiagrifood.gr\/en\/one-stop-shop-of-the-institute-of-bio-economy-agrotechnology-ibo\/","title":{"rendered":"One Stop Shop of the Institute of Bio-Economy &#038; Agrotechnology (iBO)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"113\" data-end=\"342\">As part of the #DigiAgriFood One Stop Shops development strategy, physical access points have been created across Greece to facilitate farmers, businesses, and organizations in accessing digital services and innovative solutions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"344\" data-end=\"583\">The One Stop Shops function as local support centers that bridge the gap between technology, the market, and research, providing information, training, and personalized guidance for the digital and green transition of the agri-food sector.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"1076\"><strong data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"676\">The One Stop Shop of iBO: Support, expertise, and innovation in three regions of Greece<\/strong><br data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"679\" \/>The Institute of Bio-Economy and Agro-Technology (iBO\/CERTH), as a partner of the #DigiAgriFood EDIH, operates one of the most dynamic One Stop Shop networks in Greece, with three information and service points located in Thessaly, Western Macedonia, and Epirus.<br data-start=\"941\" data-end=\"944\" \/>Their aim is to provide direct, reliable, and applicable know-how to producers, SMEs, and stakeholders in the agri-food value chain.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1317\">The iBO One Stop Shops serve as hubs for interaction between research, innovation, and everyday agricultural practice, significantly contributing to the transition towards smarter, sustainable, and more competitive agricultural production.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1322\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1422\"><strong data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1422\">iBO One Stop Shop in Volos: A strategic innovation hub at the heart of agricultural production<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1424\" data-end=\"1571\">The iBO One Stop Shop in Thessaly is hosted within the Institute in Volos \u2013 a location selected based on strong strategic and operational criteria:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1618\"><strong data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1618\">Why was the Institute chosen as the base?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"2301\">\n<li data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1729\">\n<p data-start=\"1621\" data-end=\"1729\">It is the official base of iBO, ensuring direct access to research results and technological infrastructure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1730\" data-end=\"1826\">\n<p data-start=\"1732\" data-end=\"1826\">Researchers are available daily, enabling two-way communication between science and producers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1827\" data-end=\"1921\">\n<p data-start=\"1829\" data-end=\"1921\">iBO has a long-standing presence in Thessaly, building strong trust with local stakeholders.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1922\" data-end=\"2021\">\n<p data-start=\"1924\" data-end=\"2021\">There are already established collaborations with cooperatives, producers, and local authorities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2022\" data-end=\"2144\">\n<p data-start=\"2024\" data-end=\"2144\">It has cutting-edge equipment (UAVs, sensors, data platforms, EM38, etc.) for live demonstrations and training sessions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2223\">\n<p data-start=\"2147\" data-end=\"2223\">Thessaly is a key agricultural region, making the location highly strategic.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2224\" data-end=\"2301\">\n<p data-start=\"2226\" data-end=\"2301\">The site offers easy access from all over Thessaly and neighboring regions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2303\" data-end=\"2334\"><strong data-start=\"2303\" data-end=\"2334\">Operations &amp; Public Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2336\" data-end=\"2495\">Since its launch, the iBO One Stop Shop has served a significant number of visitors, including farmers, agronomists, students, businesses, and public entities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2497\" data-end=\"2538\">Its operations focus on two main pillars:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2540\" data-end=\"2592\"><strong data-start=\"2540\" data-end=\"2576\">1. Direct Information &amp; Guidance<\/strong><br data-start=\"2576\" data-end=\"2579\" \/>iBO provides:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2593\" data-end=\"2797\">\n<li data-start=\"2593\" data-end=\"2678\">\n<p data-start=\"2595\" data-end=\"2678\">Reliable information on all available services from the Institute and DigiAgriFood,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2679\" data-end=\"2743\">\n<p data-start=\"2681\" data-end=\"2743\">Guidance for selecting the appropriate technological solution,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2744\" data-end=\"2797\">\n<p data-start=\"2746\" data-end=\"2797\">Updates on practical applications of smart farming.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2799\" data-end=\"2936\"><strong data-start=\"2799\" data-end=\"2843\">2.
